Flowing and gentle, Ai Chi is an aquatic movement class that looks very similar to Tai Chi. The 19 progressive poses are intentionally choreographed in a specific order to encourage soothing calm to the body, and mind. Regular practice develops participants' balance, strength, and flexibility. Adding Ai Chi to your program will provide a mindfulness component to your sessions. Whether you provide Ai Chi as a full class or in parts during a 1:1 session, the research has shown it to be highly effective for retraining balance, and for pain management.
Your workshop session will include learning the 19 moves and the meaning and reasoning behind each move, practicing these moves, and learning how to properly demonstrate and cue each posture safely. This course is open to fitness professional and healthcare professionals. |
